2008 marks the 75th year for Stewart Chevrolet, We've been serving San Francisco Bay Area since 1933. We are a family owned dealership, and take pride in our talented team of employees.
About our history.
Stewart Chevrolet Cadillac first opened its doors in 1933 on Mission Street in San Francisco. In 1967 the dealership was purchased by Joseph Montalbano. He was forced to move from his location on Army Street in San Francisco because they were rapidly out growing their facilities and they needed more space. Joe built a new state-of-the-art facility in Colma in 1972 and moved the dealership to its current location on Serramonte Blvd.
Today, our family and staff continue to take pride in the dealership and its customers. We currently have over 65 employees who work in sales, service or parts at the dealership. Paul Montalbano has continued his father’s legacy of running a successful dealership. He’s maintained the same type of work ethic that has allowed this store to remain successful through the ups and downs of the car industry.
Our goal is to be the Bay Areas best automotive dealership for sales, service and parts. We want our customers to feel confident that this dealership comes highly recommend to all friends and family memebers. .
